My wife and I had a wonderful time on the tour learning more about coffee growing and specifically how it has grown on Hawaii. We drove up from Kona and are happy we did! Can't recommend Hog Heaven enough.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on this coffee farm tour and the coffee is fantastic!! It was just the two of us on our two and we had a wonderful time learning about the coffee growing, harvesting, aging, and roasting process! We bought two bags of the medium dark roast and it was phenomenal!! If you're a dog lover, the five sweet puppies were great companions along the tour as well. If you have the time definitely make your way out here! It was a last minute booking but one of the highlights of our trip!

What a wonderful place! My husband and I did a tour there this past weekend and it was awesome. Mike took us all around and told us everything there is to know about how to grow and roast coffee. We were the only ones and we were so happy to have all of our many questions answered! The bonus was the 5 dogs, including the adorable Hazel, that were around that we got to cuddle with! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone. And as an aside, the coffee is delicious!

My family and I did a tour at Hog Heaven. It was fantastic! Micheal was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about coffee. This happened to be the second coffee farm tour we did on the big island, and we learned SO much more at Hog Heaven. The location is amazing (and the farm dogs are wonderful!)

We sampled coffee on the tour and took a bag of medium roast home. It was amazing at the farm and amazing at home (even in our AirBnB coffee pot). I'm typically a dark roast fan, but Hog Heaven's medium roast has converted me. For me, lighter roasts can taste acidic, harsh or sharp, the Hog Heaven Medium roast is warm and deeply flavorful without any of the acrid plant-y flavor that I've come to associate with lighter roasts (Describing flavors is difficult. The moral of the story is the coffee is really good). This is the type of coffee you can enjoy while in a rush to get out the door or savored slowly on a sunny patio.

This was my favorite tour that I've done on the big island and I highly recommend it!

The lovely owners of this small coffee farm and roastery and their four sweet rescue dogs graciously welcomed us with a private tour and tasting despite us arriving without an appointment. We learned a great deal about coffee farming and roasting, and enjoyed the view from their gorgeous farm on the eastern slopes of Hawaii.

We were looking for a coffee tour on our first visit to the Big Island but there aren’t too many options where we stayed near Hilo. Thankfully we found Hog Heaven. We had a great time on our private tour and the coffee was fantastic! Mike and Sookyung were very generous with their time and answered all of our questions. To top it off they had four wonderful pups that joined at different times on the tour.
