We loved the whole experience. We learned so much and the property was beautiful. The owner and his wife couldn’t have been more charming and the coffee was excellent. So much care goes into its making. This is a wonderful Hilo experience that compliments the rest of the special things to do and see on the east side of the island. Plus, you can get the coffee sent to you at home!
Mahalo Sally, for your kind words! We're delighted you enjoyed the tour and the experience here at Hog Heaven Coffee. We enjoyed having you and your husband.
We were able to tour the orchard several years ago and Wow! what an experience! We loved it, and love the medium roast coffee, too. So well that I get a monthly shipment to Nebraska! Jeff and Diane Duren
Aloha Jeff and Diane, we appreciate taking the time to express your tour experience and, of course for becoming a monthly Club member. Thank you for your continued support and for sharing your experience. Mahalo
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Hog Heaven Coffee Farm! The owners were very informative on the process of growing, picking, cleaning, drying, and roasting their coffee beans, and the coffee sample was delicious. We highly recommend taking their tour and buying their coffee. It’s well worth the drive from the cruise port in Hilo, which we were able to make only because of Kona being canceled and a second day in Hilo being added. Rent a car and make the trip- you won’t be disappointed!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We appreciate the kind recommendation. It was our pleasure having you two and thrilled to hear you enjoyed the tour and our coffee.
Aloha
Uniquely smooth offering. Recent cupping competition doesn't do this dark roast justice. I've been drinking Big Island Coffee for 40 years - Kona, Ka'u. and now Hamakua. My favorite of them all. Bright, low acid, full flavored. Lower elevation, longer 'grow' - smooths over every chance of imperfection.
Mahalo nui loa Jeffery and Lynn, we're thrilled to hear you continue to enjoy our Hāmākua Dark Roast! Thank you also for being part of our coffee club. Cheers to many more cups of your favorite brew!
Aloha
Best coffee on Big Island!
Aloha Kimberly, it's wonderful to hear you think so! Thanks for your wonderful review and for choosing Hog Heaven Coffee.
